7. Chicago Bears

“They’ve already had to get rid of Mitch Trubisky and brought in Nick Foles who is the ultimate reliever. The question is can Nick Foles go the distance, or is he a guy who comes in for 5 or 6 games and is really good? The Bears could very easily be 0-3 and haven’t played a very high caliber of competition so far. I understand Bears fan aren’t happy but it’s a good insult to be the worst 3-0 team. There are a lot of teams who aren’t undefeated who would be ecstatic to be the worst 3-0 team.”

6. Tennessee Titans

“The Titans are 3-0 but have won all three by a late field goal. Stephen Gostkowski made six field goals on the road versus the Vikings, and the Titans have beaten three teams with a combined 1-8 record so far. They haven’t beaten anyone good but the Steelers are coming to town this weekend. The Titans defense has been awful.”

5. Pittsburgh Steelers

“Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers have been ‘just OK.’ I like what I’m seeing from the defense, but the offense has yet to be explosive. The Steelers have been able to win in spite of playing no one good.”

4. Buffalo Bills

“A stat that I saw that blew my mind – My guy Peter Schrager put this out on ‘Good Morning Football’, Josh Allen in his last 14 games has 33 touchdowns and 3 INTS. The Bills defense hasn’t been very good, they were fortunate to win against the Rams because of a beneficial pass interference call. They were a defense first team last year, but Josh Allen seems to have moved from a guy you win IN SPITE OF, to a guy you win BECAUSE OF.”

3. Seattle Seahawks

“Russell Wilson has 14 touchdowns and 1 INT, and the one interception went right through Greg Olsen’s hands. That’s the best number of touchdowns that we have ever seen to start off the first three weeks in NFL history. The defense is not very good for the Seahawks which gives me pause, but it also means that the offense gets the ball back quickly.”

2. Green Bay Packers

“The Packers have scored 122 points since the season began, the most points that have been scored by a Packers franchise through the first three weeks EVER. It feels like Aaron Rodgers took legitimate offense when they went out and drafted Jordan Love and tried to send the message to him ‘hey, we’re moving on from you.’ Aaron Rodgers is playing out of his mind right now.”

1. Kansas City Chiefs

“Patrick Mahomes was otherworldly last night and they were significantly better than the Ravens. You’re telling me I get Patrick Mahomes on the road with an extra day to prepare with Andy Reid, and I get them as a 4-point underdog against the Ravens?? Sign me up! You’re almost never going to get Mahomes as an underdog any time. They are clearly the best team in the NFL, and served notice last night that ‘yes, we won the Super Bowl, but we’re not resting on our laurels.’ You felt like watching Mahomes counting his touchdowns, that he wanted to send a message that this was HIS league. It was almost Jordan-esque in the way Mahomes was looking for a slight.”
