Texas moved up to No. 1 overall in the Associated Press Week 7 Top 25 College Football Poll following previously top-ranked Alabama's historic upset road loss to Vanderbilt Saturday (October 5) night.
The Longhorns, who were on a bye week, remain undefeated heading into their rivalry game against Oklahoma, who was also idle in Week 6, on Saturday (October 12). Vanderbilt's upset of Alabama was its first ever win against a top 5 team in program history and first against the Crimson Tide since 1984.
