iHeartMedia Youngstown is proud to announce the Return of âSports Rap with Ron Potestaâ on 1390 The Gambler/WNIO, along with the iHeartRadio App. The program launches today September 7, 2021 and will air each Weekday Afternoon 3:00 â 5:00 PM
Each day Ron will host conversations on sports in the Valley including High School Athletics, Youngstown State sports, Cleveland Indians Baseball, CAVS Basketball, and Browns Football. Ron will also discuss Steelers football as 1390 The Gambler is your radio home in the Valley for Pittsburgh Steelers Football.
Ron Potesta, a native of Leetonia, has more than 25 years of broadcast experience. Ron is a former play by play announcer of the West 10 DiamondJacks, an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. He has also called play by play of High School sports in Youngstown for many years. Ron returns to 1390 after nearly two years.
