Thanks to their upset of top seed Oakland, the YSU Men's Basketball team is two wins away from their 1st appearance in the NCAA Tournament. All that stands between they and the elusive invitation is a win over Northern Kentucky tonight and a win tomorrow night against the winner of tonight's game between Milwaukee-UIC.
I've often said that if the men's basketball team ever went to the NCAA tournament, the town would be buzzing with an excitement that we've never seen. Heck, we're only half way to winning the tournament and two buses filled with Penguins fans just made the trip to Detroit to see tonight's game. There is also a watch party set for tonight on campus.
